My name is Brian King and I am honored to serve as your Superintendent of Schools here at Chireno ISD.  I am beginning my 22nd year in education and have been blessed to be employed in the district for the entirety of my career where I began as a junior high history teacher.  After nine years in the classroom teaching at the junior high, high school, and college level,  I moved into administration and have served as Principal at both the elementary and secondary campuses as well as serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Operations/ Student Services prior to moving into my current position.  I hold a Bachelor of Science in Political Science & History and a Master or Arts in History from Stephen F. Austin State University.  I have been married to my wife Jacy (also a history teacher at CISD) for 18 years.  We have two sons, Trevin and Samuel.
